I am the Manager of the Technology Services Team at the YukonU Innovation Commons. I am working to help the University Community leverage technology so our students can grow and succeed.
I was the cataloguer/systems librarian at Yukon College from 2004 to 2020. Over that time, I’ve seen our system change from one 386 IBM/PC to a cloud-based integrated library system that offers students, staff, faculty and public access to materials on the shelves and a wide array of articles and other online resources. After working as the Manager to the Library Team and IT Helpdesk, I transitioned to Manager, Technology Services in 2024.
My specific interests are in technology in the classroom and in wider society, with a view to make technology work for us in our lives and at the workplace. I relish having conversations with people to match needs with resources.
