My research looks at the human and policy dimensions of environmental change in the North, focusing on northern adaptation and resilience. I am interested in how we make decisions around science and research, and how research can inform decision-making in governments and other organizations. I work with communities, governments, land-claim organizations, and industry to learn about adaptation to climate change and to share those lessons across the North. In my work I try to make climate change knowledge accessible for different audiences. My recent projects focus on Yukon First Nation and community responses to emergencies, including flooding and COVID-19. I love exploring the Yukon wilderness by mountain bike, skis, or boat, and hanging out with my dogs.
